.SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TODAY INTO MONDAY AS A PACIFIC STORM
IMPACTS THE AREA. PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN PLUMAS AND THE NORTHERN
SIERRA NEVADA THROUGH TONIGHT. LIGHTER SNOW SHOWERS FORECAST
MONDAY WITH DRIER WEATHER TUESDAY.

WINTER STORM WARNING.

HEAVIER SNOW HAS ENDED IN THE SHASTA AND COASTAL MOUNTAINS AND
THUS THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. SCATTERED SNOW
SHOWERS REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT WITH LOCAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 3 INCHES. SNOW LEVELS EXPECTED TO BE 2500 TO
3500 FEET.

  GUSTY SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WIND. LIGHTER SNOW SHOWERS EXPECTED
  MONDAY. SNOW LEVELS 3500 TO 4500 FEET TODAY LOWER TO 2500 TO
  3500 FEET TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...INTERSTATE 80 OVER DONNER PASS, HIGHWAY 50 OVER
  ECHO SUMMIT, HIGHWAY 88 OVER CARSON PASS AND LASSEN VOLCANIC
  NATIONAL PARK.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 12 INCHES
  POSSIBLE ABOVE 3000 FEET WITH 1 TO 3 FEET ACROSS HIGHER TERRAIN.

* MAIN IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS WITH CHAIN CONTROLS AND
  WHITE OUT CONDITIONS. ROAD CLOSURES POSSIBLE.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
