...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
  counties, Bibb, Jefferson and Tuscaloosa.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tuscaloosa, Northport, Holt, Moundville, Lake View,
    Brookwood, Coaling, Vance, Woodstock, Coker, Deerlick Creek
    Campgrounds, University Mall, Bryant Denny Stadium, McFarland
    Mall, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, Tuscaloosa Regional Airport,
    Lake Wildwood, Shelton State Community College, Binion Creek
    Landing and Lake Lurleen State Park.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
