140 WGUS84 KCRP 052008 FLSCRP Flood Advisory National Weather Service Corpus Christi TX 308 PM CDT Sun May 5 2024 TXC283-311-052100- /O.NEW.KCRP.FA.Y.0007.240505T2008Z-240505T2100Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ La Salle TX-McMullen TX- 308 PM CDT Sun May 5 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following counties, La Salle and McMullen. * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Slaughter Creek, Lewis Creek, Pertle Creek, Elm Creek, Martin Branch, Cibolo Creek, North Prong Leoncita Creek, West Prong Leoncita Creek, Nogate Creek, Frio River, Leoncita Creek, Rock Creek, El Sauz Creek, Mossy Slough, Yeager Creek, Rockaway Creek, Sevenmile Creek, Prairie Creek, Altita Creek, Nueces River, Charco Marrano Creek, Rawhide Creek, Galinda Creek, Esperanza Creek, Mustang Creek and Ruiz Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
