* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an
inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...North Cass, South Cass, Crow Wing, Northern Aitkin,
South Aitkin and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. This
includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band and the
Mille Lacs Band, Big Sandy Lake and, East Lake areas.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
will impact the morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The most likely time period for ice
accumulation from freezing rain and drizzle is this morning
before 10 AM.
