This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Lingering showers and non-severe storms are expected to continue
into the evening mainly over southeastern Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Chances for showers and thunderstorms return late Friday night
into Saturday morning with a low threat of hail and a few strong
wind gusts. Additional storm chances are possible into early next
week with any severe risk being evaluated in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not needed at this time. However, rainfall
reports are always appreciated.

the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

Lingering showers and storms are expected to continue into the
evening mainly over southeastern Iowa, though the severe weather
