* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Carroll County in northwestern Georgia...
  Heard County in west central Georgia...
  Northwestern Coweta County in west central Georgia...

* Until 1145 AM EDT.

* At 1104 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Newell to near Wedowee to near Mellow Valley,
  moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Whitesburg, Ephesus, Centralhatchee, Roopville, Plant
  Yates, Arnco-Sargent, Tyus, Powers Crossroads, Roosterville, Handy,
  Waresville, Dunaway Gardens, Frolona, Lowell, Texas, Plant Wansley,
  Paran, Glenn, and Blackjack Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
