.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will weaken, but remain in control for the Jax area on
Thursday. This will result in lighter southwest winds overall as
compared to today and Wednesday, though still expect around 10 mph
with gusts up to near 15 mph. Temperatures will be quite warm, well
into the 80s and approaching 90 by the afternoon and early evening
hours. However, humidity values will be low enough to not significantly
raise forecast heat indices. Cloud cover will be slightly higher during
the first half of the day as a front weakens well to the north, with
some clearing expected into the afternoon and evening. Temps will remain
mild and above normal for the time of year going into the night, remaining
above 70 degrees through at least midnight.
