Through 3 PM, a line of showers from the island communities of
Summerland Key to Big Pine Key and extending approximately 70 miles
to the southeast through the Straits continues to produce hazardous
conditions. This activity is capable of wind gusts near 25 knots, and
moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibilities. Island
communities between Summerland Key and Big Pine Key may see rainfall
amounts up to a tenth of an inch.
