FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.6 inches over eastern Kansas will
deepen to 29.4 inches and cross Lake Michigan Monday night, then
continue across southern Quebec Tuesday evening. A broad ridge of
high pressure of 30.3 inches over the Plains Tuesday night will
move across the western Great Lakes Wednesday. Another low of 29.4
inches will develop in lee of the Rockies Friday. This low will
reach Lake Superior Saturday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 30
kt late. Areas of fog. Slight chance of rain showers and light
freezing rain this evening...then chance of rain showers and
slight chance of snow showers overnight. Waves 1 to 3 ft building
to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.MONDAY...East winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt. Patchy
fog. Rain or snow showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
building to 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to
40 kt. Rain and snow showers in the evening...then snow likely
overnight. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to 7
to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft after midnight.
.TUESDAY...North gales to 40 kt. Chance of snow in the morning.
Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to 8 to 11 ft
occasionally to 14 ft in the afternoon.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt
overnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to
4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft overnight.

.MONDAY...East winds 15 to 25 kt becoming southeast. Areas of
dense fog. Showers and scattered thunderstorms in the
morning...then showers in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft building to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
from late morning on.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt veering to southwest
to 30 kt after midnight...then becoming northwest gales to 40 kt
late. Areas of dense fog early in the evening. Rain likely in the
evening...then snow or rain overnight. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft building to 8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft
late.
.TUESDAY...Northwest gales to 40 kt. Snow likely in the morning...
