FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS....A large area of high pressure averaging 30.3 inches
extending from New England to the mid Atlantic...will move off
the coast Wednesday. Low pressure of 29.7 inches over western
Ontario this evening...will move to northern Lake Huron Wednesday
night as it deepens to 29.4 inches. A trailing cold front will
move across the lake on Wednesday. A fast moving ridge of high
pressure of 30.3 inches will cross the lake Thursday. Low
pressure of 29.3 inches will move across the lakes region Friday
night into Saturday.

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 kt becoming northwest gales
to 40 kt. Chance of rain showers in the evening...then chance of
snow showers overnight. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.THURSDAY...North gales to 35 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt in
the afternoon. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding
to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southeast to
30 kt overnight. Waves building to 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY...South gales to 40 kt. Chance of rain and snow showers
in the morning...then rain showers likely in the afternoon. Waves
7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South gales to 35 kt becoming west 15 to 25 kt
overnight. Rain showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
