FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WITH A CENTRAL PRESSURE
OF 30.6 INCHES EXTENDS FROM NEW ENGLAND THROUGH THE RED RIVER
VALLEY. LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CAROLINA COAST WILL DEEPEN TO 29.9
INCHES AS IT TRACKS NORTH ALONG THE ATLANTIC COAST...SPLITTING THE
HIGH PRESSURE INTO TO AREAS...ONE MOVING OFF THE ATLANTIC COAST
AND ANOTHER CENTERED OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES. HIGH PRESSURE
OF 30.3 INCHES WILL REMAIN CENTERED OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES
THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.7
INCHES DEVELOPS OVER THE WESTERN PLAINS. WITH LITTLE PROGRESSION
TO THE SURFACE PATTERN...WEAK AND GENERALLY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL
PERSIST OVER LAKE MICHIGAN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
