OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.2 inches centered over the eastern
seaboard will move move offshore this evening. Meanwhile, low
pressure of 29.9 inches over Minnesota will move over northern
Wisconsin today and then reach Lake Michigan tonight. The low will
reach the eastern Great Lakes Friday, and then shift northeast
across Quebec this weekend. A 30.1 inch high will build over the
Upper Midwest Friday, before spreading over the lakes region early
next week.

to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 kt becoming north 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 2 to 4 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
