FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.5 inches over Lake Superior early
this morning will move into Quebec this afternoon. A trailing
cold front from this low will move across the lake this afternoon.
New low pressure of 29.7 inches will develop along the front over
Missouri this morning and quickly move to New England tonight.
Strong high pressure of 30.6 inches will move across the Plains
tonight and Friday and then across the southern Great Lakes
region Friday night. Low pressure is expected to move across
Hudson Bay Saturday with a weak cold front crossing the lake
Saturday night.

of snow. Freezing spray overnight. Waves building to 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt
late in the morning...then becoming west in the afternoon.
Freezing spray in the morning. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to
10 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 kt
overnight. Waves building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.SATURDAY...Southwest gales to 35 kt. Freezing spray in the
morning. Chance of snow in the afternoon. Waves 7 to 10 ft
