FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...BROAD HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.0 INCHES IS PARKED ACROSS
THE OHIO VALLEY AND SOUTHEAST U.S. WHILE A WEAK LOW OF 29.9 INCHES
MOVES SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES. A SHARP COLD
FRONT TRAILS THE LOW AND WILL CONTINUE SOUTHWARD DOWN THE LAKE THIS
EVENING...TURNING WINDS NORTH TO NORTHEASTERLY. HIGH PRESSURE OF
30.4 INCHES OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO WILL WEAKEN TO AROUND 30.2
INCHES INTO TONIGHT AS IT SETTLES SOUTHWARD SENDING A RIDGE AXIS
ACROSS THE LAKE. THE HIGH WILL FURTHER WEAKEN TUESDAY AS LOW
PRESSURE OF 29.3 INCHES MOVES NORTHWARD FROM THE CENTRAL HIGH
PLAINS TO NORTHERN MANITOBA BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. ANOTHER LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS
THURSDAY AND CROSS LAKE MICHIGAN THURSDAY NIGHT OR FRIDAY MORNING.
THIS LOW WILL THEN DEEPEN OVER SOUTHEAST ONTARIO ON FRIDAY AS A
SHARP COLD FRONT MOVES OVER THE LAKE.
