OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low over northeast Ontario will shift to
Quebec tonight while a deepening low of 29.4 inches moves over the
lake tonight and then reaches southeast Ontario Sunday afternoon.
The low will slowly continue north over western Quebec while high
pressure of 30.0 inches spreads over the Plains into early next
week. The high will strengthen to 30.1 inches over the southern
Mississippi Valley early next week while a second high of 30.0
inches moves over the Dakotas. The two highs will merge together
Wednesday and the northern edge of the high pressure ridge will
pass over the lake Wednesday afternoon averaging 29.9 inches.
