FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OF 29.9 INCHES WAS OVER
THE LOWER OHIO VALLEY EARLY THIS MORNING...AND WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE OFF TO THE SOUTHEAST WHILE DEEP LOW PRESSURE LIFTS NORTH OFF
THE NEW ENGLAND COAST. HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING AVERAGING 30.3 INCHES
WILL MOVE SOUTH ACROSS THE LAKE TODAY...BUILDING TO 30.4 INCHES AS
IT CONTINUES INTO THE OHIO VALLEY TONIGHT. BY EARLY
WEDNESDAY...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES WILL DEVELOP OVER THE
PLAINS...AND WILL DEEPEN SLIGHTLY TO 29.7 INCHES AS IT MOVES EAST
TOWARD THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY EVENING AND TO NEAR SOUTHERN
LAKE MICHIGAN BY THURSDAY MORNING. THE LOW WILL THEN LIFT OUT TO
THE NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO AND NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND
THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...WHILE STRONG HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.7 INCHES
SPREADS SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THE HIGH
WILL DRIFT ACROSS THE MIDWEST AND SOUTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION
