FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.2 INCHES EXTENDS
FROM LAKE SUPERIOR TO THE UPPER OHIO VALLEY. THE RIDGE WILL BE
FORCED TO THE NORTH ACROSS THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES AS ONE LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM OF 29.8 INCHES DROPS INTO SOUTHERN MISSOURI
TONIGHT WHILE ANOTHER LOW OF 27.7 INCHES OVER THE NORTHERN GULF
OF MEXICO LIFTS NORTHEAST OFF THE CAROLINA COAST TONIGHT WHILE
DEEPENING TO 29.5 INCHES. ANOTHER ARCTIC HIGH OF 30.8 INCHES WILL
BUILD OUT OF CANADA AND INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS THURSDAY. THE
HIGH WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES AND OHIO
VALLEY BY FRIDAY AS THE CENTER OF THE HIGH DROPS SOUTHEAST ALONG
THE MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY. THIS AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL
CONTINUE TO DOMINATE THE EASTERN CONUS...AS THE CENTER OF THE HIGH
SETTLES INTO THE OHIO VALLEY FRIDAY NIGHT AND THEN MOVES EAST TO
THE MID ATLANTIC REGION ON SATURDAY. A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
IS EXPECTED TO CROSS LAKE MICHIGAN ON SUNDAY AS ONE AREA OF HIGH
PRESSURE MOVES OFF THE ATLANTIC COAST AND ANOTHER DROPS OUT OF
CANADA AND INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS.
