FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.6 INCHES
EXTENDING FROM THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY NORTHEAST TO THE
SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL GREAT LAKES WILL SLOWLY MOVE EAST NORTHEAST
TONIGHT...AND THEN WEAKEN TO 29.7 INCHES AS IT CONTINUES EAST
TO THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES REGION BY THURSDAY. A NARROW RIDGE OF
HIGH PRESSURE AVERAGING 30.0 INCHES WILL MOVE EASTWARD INTO THE
WESTERN LAKES IN THE WAKE OF THIS LOW. ANOTHER LOW OF 29.4 INCHES
WILL DEVELOP OVER SOUTHERN ALBERTA WEDNESDAY NIGHT...THEN TRACK
EAST TO LAKE SUPERIOR THURSDAY NIGHT. THIS LOW WILL THEN MERGE
WITH THE WEAKENING LINGERING LOW OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES AND
TOGETHER THEY WILL LIFT NORTH INTO QUEBEC AND DEEPEN TO 29.1
INCHES BY FRIDAY EVENING. A COLD FRONT TRAILING SOUTHWEST FROM
THIS LOW WILL DROP SOUTH DOWN THE LAKE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
SATURDAY.
