WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AVERAGING 30.3 INCHES
CENTERED OVER THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES WILL SLIDE EAST THIS
AFTERNOON...REACHING NEW ENGLAND BY LATE TONIGHT. A LOW PRESSURE
OF 29.8 INCHES OVER THE UPPER PLAINS WILL MOVE NORTHEAST TO NEAR
HUDSON BAY BY FRIDAY MORNING...THEN CONTINUE EAST INTO QUEBEC BY
SATURDAY MORNING WHILE DEEPENING SLIGHTLY TO 29.6 INCHES. A COLD
FRONT TRAILING THIS LOW WILL MOVE SOUTH ACROSS THE LAKE FRIDAY
NIGHT AS UNSEASONABLY STRONG HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.5 BUILDS SOUTH
INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS IN THE WAKE OF THIS FRONT FRIDAY NIGHT
INTO SATURDAY. THE HIGH WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE EAST INTO THE
NORTHERN LAKES REGION SUNDAY.
