FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.8 inches over central Illinois
will move to the central Ohio River Valley by this evening, and
onward to the Mid- Atlantic on Friday while deepening slightly as
it does. High pressure of 30.2 inches will build southward from
Ontario on Friday, centering over Lake Michigan on Saturday. This
high will move very slowly south through the first part of next
week.

20 kt after midnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt. Waves
4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.

with occasional gusts to 30 kt. Slight chance of showers this
morning. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9
ft by late in the day.
.TONIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt with occasional gusts to 30 kt
this evening, becoming northeast after midnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 kt becoming north to 30 kt
early in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft
building back to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
