An inch to an inch and a half has already fallen over the last couple of hours with an additional quarter to a half in possible. KYC029-111-211-215-040315- /O.NEW.KLMK.FA.Y.0009.240504T0019Z-240504T0315Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Bullitt KY-Jefferson KY-Shelby KY-Spencer KY- 819 PM EDT Fri May 3 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Bullitt, Jefferson, Shelby and Spencer. * WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 817 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
