THIS HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING RIVERS: ILLINOIS
RIVER.

WARMER TEMPERATURES YESTERDAY AND TODAY HAVE INITIATED SNOWMELT
RUNOFF ACROSS SOME PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER BASIN. SOME
TRIBUTARIES HAVE BEGUN TO RISE AS A RESULT OF THE SNOWMELT. THE
ILLINOIS RIVER IS ALSO EXPECTED TO BEGIN RISING IN THE NEXT 24
TO 36 HOURS.

FOR THE UPPER ILLINOIS RIVER...INCLUDING LA SALLE...MINOR FLOODING IS
POSSIBLE.

FOR THE ILLINOIS RIVER AT LA SALLE, THE STAGE AT 11AM WAS ESTIMATED AT
16.0 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 20 FEET. THE MAXIMUM STAGE FORECAST IS 20.5
FEET THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
