RIVER.

FOR THE KANKAKEE RIVER...INCLUDING KOUTS...MODERATE FLOODING IS
IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE.

FOR THE KANKAKEE RIVER NEAR KOUTS, THE LATEST STAGE IS 10.2 FEET AT 9
PM SATURDAY. FLOOD STAGE IS 11.0 FEET. BANKFULL STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.
MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE...WITH A CREST OF AROUND 11.1 FEET
WEDNESDAY MORNING...WHICH IS 0.1 FEET ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.

A COMBINATION OF RAIN AND SNOWMELT CONTINUES TO RESULT IN
RISES ON AREA RIVERS. SOME RIVERS WERE ICE AFFECTED AND
EXPERIENCING ELEVATED WATER LEVELS DUE TO ICE. UNLIKE TYPICAL
RIVER FLOODING...ICE JAM FLOODING IS VERY LOCALIZED.
