This hydrologic outlook includes the following rivers: Des Plaines
River...Kankakee River.

For the Des Plaines River...including Russell...Minor flooding is
possible.For the Kankakee River...including Shelby...Minor flooding
is possible.

For the Des Plaines River near Russell, the latest stage is 4.6 feet
at 7 AM Tuesday. Flood stage is 7.0 feet. Bankfull stage is 6.5 feet.
Minor flooding is possible...with a crest of around 7.0 feet Friday
morning...which is equal to the flood stage.

For the Kankakee River at Shelby, the latest stage is 7.1 feet at 8
AM Tuesday. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.Minor
flooding is possible...with a crest of around 10.3 feet Monday
morning...which is 1.3 feet above flood stage.
