...Heavy rain and possible flooding Monday and Monday Night...

Low pressure is expected to move across Illinois and Indiana
Monday afternoon into Monday night. As it approaches...periods of
heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to spread across parts
of eastern Illinois and northwest Indiana on Monday and continue
into Monday night.

Current forecast trends would support rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches generally along and south of a Pontiac Illinois to Gary
Indiana line...with rainfall amounts quickly lowering northwest
of this line. However...there still remains uncertainty regarding
where the heaviest rain will fall. Locally higher amounts will
also be possible.

This amount of rain...which may fall on areas that received heavy
rain Friday night...may lead to rises on streams and rivers as
well as localized flash flooding.

Anyone with interests along rivers or who live in low lying or
flood prone areas should remain up to date on the latest weather
and river forecasts early this week.
