...HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING A CONCERN THIS WEEKEND...

PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE REGION
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. PARTICULARLY LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT...VERY HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS
PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND SLOWLY TRANSITION SOUTHEAST. BY
MONDAY MORNING...RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF TWO INCHES IS POSSIBLE
NORTH OF A LINE FROM CHICAGO TO LA SALLE...WHILE RAINFALL IN
EXCESS OF THREE INCHES IS POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS INCLUDING THE ROCKFORD AREA. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS
ALONG WITH RISES OF AREA STREAMS AND RIVERS INTO FLOOD STAGE WILL
