...Localized Ice Break Up Flooding Possible This Week...

Much warmer temperatures, well above freezing, will move into the
area Tuesday into Wednesday. The warmer temperatures will cause
existing snow cover to melt along with increasing chances of rain
later Wednesday into Thursday, which should result in increased
flow on area rivers. The warmer temperatures and increased flow
will likely cause ice on area rivers to begin to break up this
week, which could result in localized ice jam flooding to develop
as the freshly dislodged ice begins to move downstream.
