RIVER.

FOR THE KANKAKEE RIVER...INCLUDING SHELBY...MINOR FLOODING IS
POSSIBLE.

RAINFALL OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS OF UP TO AN INCH AND THREE QUARTERS
HAS FALLEN ACROSS EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA. THIS
HAS CAUSED RISES ALONG THE KANKAKEE RIVER NEAR SHELBY.

FOR THE KANKAKEE RIVER AT SHELBY, THE LATEST STAGE IS 6.7 FEET AT 10
AM MONDAY. FLOOD STAGE IS 9.0 FEET. BANKFULL STAGE IS 8.5 FEET. MINOR
FLOODING IS POSSIBLE...WITH A CREST OF AROUND 9.5 FEET THURSDAY
EVENING...WHICH IS 0.5 FEET ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.
