...HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING A CONCERN THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT...

SCATTERED STORMS TODAY FOLLOWED BY POSSIBLY GREATER COVERAGE OF
STORMS THIS EVENING INTO OVERNIGHT WILL PRESENT AT LEAST SOME
FLOODING THREAT...ESPECIALLY IN THOSE AREAS THAT RECEIVED TWO TO
SIX INCHES OF RAINFALL THIS PAST SATURDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVY
RAINFALL THREAT IS HIGHEST MAINLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM STREATOR
ILLINOIS TO RENSSELAER INDIANA...WHERE HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING
THUNDERSTORMS MAY REGENERATE AND TRAIN OVER THE SAME
AREAS...ESPECIALLY DURING TONIGHT. THIS INCLUDES GIBSON
CITY...FOWLER...PONTIAC...AND WATSEKA.

THERE REMAINS UNCERTAINTY ON THE EXACT PLACEMENT OF HEAVY
RAINFALL IN THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT...WHICH
PRECLUDES A FLASH FLOOD WATCH AT THIS TIME.

MANY STREAMS IN THE AREA CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE INCREASED FLOWS
DUE TO THE HEAVY RAIN FROM SATURDAY NIGHT. STORMS TODAY AND
TONIGHT COULD LEAD TO INCREASED CONCERNS OF FLOODING IN LOW LYING
AREAS AND PUSHING AREA STREAMS INTO FLOOD STAGE. STAY TUNED FOR
THE LATEST FORECASTS TODAY AND TONIGHT.
