Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Northern IL and Northwest IN
National Weather Service Chicago/Romeoville IL
340 PM CDT Thu May 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Showers will end evening with mainly dry conditions expected
Friday. Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected
Friday night into Saturday. Another mainly dry day is likely
Sunday, though periodic showers and storm chances return again
early next week.

Highs will mostly be in the 60s Friday, but winds off the lake will
keep temperatures and mixing heights lower near the lake. Slow
moderation in temperatures is expected over the weekend, with
70s returning by Sunday and continuing next week.
