DISCUSSION:

An active weather pattern looks to return midweek through the
weekend with periodic thunderstorm chances. With an increasingly
humid air mass returning, there will be potential for heavy rain
that could result in flooding, as well as possibly a severe
thunderstorm threat. In addition, the humid air mass may lead to
heat index readings over 100, most favored south of Interstate 80.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Fox and Des Plaines
Rivers.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
