THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH MAY PRODUCE:
   OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
   LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

   SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY OVERSPREAD MUCH OF NORTHERN
   ILLINOIS AND NORTHWESTERN INDIANA TONIGHT.

  DISCUSSION:

   THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER APPEARS TO BE VERY LOW WITH
   ANY THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND
   LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER REMAIN IN FLOOD. WATER LEVELS
REMAIN HIGH ON MANY OTHER AREA RIVERS AND CREEKS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER WILL REMAIN IN FLOOD THROUGH
SUNDAY.

THERE WILL BE PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS COULD BE SEVERE AND PRODUCE
HEAVY RAINFALL SUNDAY EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. ANOTHER PERIOD OF
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS POSSIBLE LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY.
