THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are possible late this evening into overnight,
mainly north of Interstate 80. The risk of severe weather is low.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Fox and Des Plaines
Rivers.

DISCUSSION:

An active and more humid weather pattern will return midweek
through the weekend. This will include periodic thunderstorm
chances with the potential for heavy rain that could result in
flooding, and possibly a severe thunderstorm threat. The humid air
mass also may lead to heat index readings in excess of 100
degrees, most favored south of Interstate 80 Thursday through
Saturday.

In addition, flooding will continue along portions of the Fox and
Des Plaines Rivers.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
