746 PM CDT TUE JUL 22 2014 /846 PM EDT TUE JUL 22 2014/

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...STRONGEST COULD PRODUCE:
WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
    QUARTER SIZE HAIL.
BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS...LEADING TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.
AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

IF STORMS DO DEVELOP...THE BEST CHANCE OF STORMS WILL BE BETWEEN
8 PM AND 10 PM ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATES 88 AND
  290. FARTHER SOUTH TO THE KANKAKEE RIVER...THE BEST CHANCE OF
STORMS IS LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE EARLY OVERNIGHT.

  DISCUSSION:

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THIS EVENING INTO THE
EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE IS A CHANCE THAT ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP ALONG THIS FRONT AS IT MOVES THROUGH
THE AREA. WHILE THE CHANCE OF STORMS IS PRETTY LOW DUE TO
UNFAVORABLY WARM TEMPERATURES ALOFT...IF STORMS DO FORM THERE IS
A CHANCE THAT ONE COULD POTENTIALLY BECOME BRIEFLY SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

HAZARDOUS BEACH CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY MIDDAY WEDNESDAY THROUGH
MIDDAY THURSDAY ALONG THE ILLINOIS AND INDIANA SHORELINE.

THERE WILL BE CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL PROBABLY NOT BE NEEDED DUE TO THE LIMITED
COVERAGE AND LOW PROBABILITY FOR ANY SEVERE WEATHER.
