  OPEN WATERS FROM WINTHROP HARBOR TO WILMETTE HARBOR OUT TO MID
LAKE...

AT 320 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS ON ITS NORTHERN SIDE. THIS
THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 30 NM SOUTHEAST OF WINTHROP HARBOR...MOVING
EAST AT 35 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
