is the average of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the
average height of the highest 10 percent of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 kt becoming east
around 10 kt. Showers and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 2
ft.
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 kt becoming south. Slight
chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Showers through the day.
Thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt becoming southwest to
30 kt after midnight. Showers and a chance of thunderstorms.
Waves 2 to 4 ft. A small craft advisory will likely be needed.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Occasional gales to 35 kt are
possible in the morning. Chance of showers in the morning. Waves
3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft in the
afternoon.
