PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES EVENTUALLY BECAME MOSTLY SUNNY FROM
THE NORTHWEST DURING THE AFTERNOON AS DRIER AIR SPREAD IN WITH THE
FRONT. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW TO MID 70S
ACROSS MOST OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA...WITH A
FEW UPPER 70S MAINLY SOUTH OF THE ILLINOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVER
VALLEYS. SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR EARLY WEDNESDAY
EVENING...WITH OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE UPPER 50S
TO AROUND 60 DEGREES.

SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY...WITH
TEMPERATURES WARMING INTO THE LOW TO MID 80S AND LIGHT SOUTHEAST
WINDS. TEMPERATURES ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE WILL BE A LITTLE
COOLER...WITH HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S BY MIDDAY BEFORE
COOLING INTO THE 60S DURING THE AFTERNOON AS A LAKE BREEZE
DEVELOPS. CLOUDS WILL INCREASE THURSDAY NIGHT WITH A CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT MAINLY ACROSS
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS. WARM AND MORE HUMID
CONDITIONS...WITH SOME PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...ARE
EXPECTED FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...BEFORE WINDY AND MUCH COOLER
WEATHER ARRIVES SATURDAY.
