WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO/ROMEOVILLE IL
513 PM CDT WED JUL 30 2014 /613 PM EDT WED JUL 30 2014/

SKIES WERE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING ACROSS THE AREA BUT THOSE
SHOULD DISSIPATE BY EARLY EVENING. TEMPERATURES MADE IT INTO THE
UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S...BUT A LAKE BREEZE KEPT TEMPERATURES ALONG
THE LAKE IN THE LOW 70S.

SKIES WILL BECOME PARTLY CLOUDY AND LOWS BY EARLY THURSDAY
WILL DIP INTO THE MID AND UPPER 50S...EXCEPT LOWER 60S IN CHICAGO.
ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON...SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE...THOUGH LIKELY OF LIMITED COVERAGE. AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL
BE IN THE LOWER 80S UNDER PARTLY SUNNY SKIES. A LAKE BREEZE IS
ANTICIPATED TO PUSH JUST INLAND DURING THE AFTERNOON. CONDITIONS
WILL BE SIMILAR ON FRIDAY...BUT A STRONGER UPPER DISTURBANCE
MOVING OVER THE AREA COULD RESULT IN A BIT MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWER
AND THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE. SATURDAY WILL OFFER ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY
FOR A CHANCE OF SCATTERED AFTERNOON SHOWERS. SUNDAY WILL BE DRY
ACROSS THE AREA...WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER 80S INLAND AND MID AND
UPPER 70S NEAR THE LAKE.
