LATE AFTERNOON SKIES WERE PARTLY SUNNY TO SUNNY. IN THE AFTERNOON
A FAST MOVING THUNDERSTORM MOVED INTO THE AREA ALONG THE BORDER OF
OGLE AND LEE COUNTIES AND MOVED EASTWARD INTO LAKE MICHIGAN NEAR
EVANSTON. THE STORM PRODUCED HEAVY RAINFALL...STRONG WINDS AND
LARGE HAIL. LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 80S TO
LOW 90S WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OCCASIONALLY TO 40 MPH.

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS WISCONSIN
LATE IN THE AFTERNOON AND MOVE SOUTHEAST REACHING NORTHERN
ILLINOIS IN THE EARLY EVENING...AND THEN CONTINUE SOUTHEAST AFFECTING
THE REMAINING AREAS IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE PROGRESSING
QUICKLY TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST...WITH THUNDERSTORMS COMING TO
AN END BEFORE MIDNIGHT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE
THREATS BEING STRONG WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

PREDAWN MONDAY MORNING THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA
AND THE WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST WITH MUCH COOLER AIR
ARRIVING. SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES
WILL BE COOLER IN THE LOWER 80S.
