SUNSHINE WAS ABUNDANT ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA AT MIDDAY. MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES WERE QUITE CHILLY
ACROSS THE AREA...WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM CLOSE TO 20
DEGREES BELOW ZERO OUT IN NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS TO 5 ABOVE ZERO
IN AREAS CLOSE TO LAKE MICHIGAN.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER WESTERN ILLINOIS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST TO
THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES BY SATURDAY MORNING. THIS WILL KEEP
CONDITIONS DRY FOR THE AREA FOR TODAY AND DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS
ON SATURDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WELL BELOW NORMAL...AND
HIGHS TODAY WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE TEENS. ON SATURDAY...HIGHS
WILL GET INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO LOW 20S. ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM
WILL THEN MOVE INTO THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT BRINGING THE CHANCES
OF SNOW THAT WILL CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY. ACCUMULATIONS OF TWO TO
FOUR INCHES IS POSSIBLE NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80...AND THE HEAVIEST
SNOW WILL OCCUR SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 WHERE FOUR TO SIX INCHES OF
SNOW IS POSSIBLE.
