NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO/ROMEOVILLE IL
430 PM CDT FRI OCT 17 2014

THE CLOUD COVER RETURNED DURING THE AFTERNOON AS LOW PRESSURE MOVED
INTO THE NORTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION. WINDS WERE FROM THE WEST TO
NORTHWEST AND GUSTED TO 35 MPH AT TIMES. BY LATE AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID 50S AFTER REACHING HIGHS IN THE UPPER
50S TO LOW 60S.

THE CLOUD COVER WILL CONTINUE TO BLANKET THE REGION TONIGHT AND MOST
OF SATURDAY MORNING. MOST OF THE REGION WILL SEE DRY CONDITIONS
TONIGHT AND SATURDAY...BUT THERE IS ENOUGH MOISTURE IN THE
ATMOSPHERE THAT THERE ARE SLIGHT CHANCES FOR A FEW SHOWERS ACROSS
PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST INDIANA TONIGHT. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN
BRING CLEARING SKIES SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM WEST TO
EAST. FROSTY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT. PLEASANT BUT
COOL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED SUNDAY BEFORE ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM BRINGS BACK THE CLOUDS AND VERY SLIGHT CHANCES OF SHOWERS
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.
