LATE AFTERNOON SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY TO SUNNY ACROSS NORTHERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID TO
UPPER 60S WITH WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 20 TO 25 MPH.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES THROUGH FRIDAY
AND MOVE EAST SATURDAY WITH SLOWLY WARMING TEMPERATURES. HIGHS ON
FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE MID 60S TO LOWER 70S...BUT ONSHORE WINDS
WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID 50S ALONG THE LAKEFRONT.
FOR THE WEEKEND...SATURDAY LOOKS TO BE DRY WITH HIGHS IN THE LOW
TO MID 70S...AND COOLER TEMPERATURES NEAR THE LAKE. THE NEXT
CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ON SUNDAY AS LOW
PRESSURE APPROACHES THE MIDWEST. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE
LOW TO MID 70S. THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S.
