WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

536 PM CDT TUE AUG 26 2014 /636 PM EDT TUE AUG 26 2014/

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWEST INDIANA DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THERE WERE
REPORTS OF SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN FROM THESE STORMS. TEMPERATURES BY
LATE AFTERNOON WERE IN THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S RANGE. THE LAKE
SHORE TEMPERATURES WERE A BIT COOLER IN THE LOW TO MID 70S.

ISOLATED STORMS REMAIN POSSIBLE THIS EVENING SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
80 AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES OVER THE AREA. LOWS
TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE 60S. HIGHS WEDNESDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER
70S TO LOWER 80S...EXCEPT ALONG THE ILLINOIS SHORE...WHERE LOW TO
MID 70S ARE EXPECTED. PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK WITH NEAR SEASONAL
TEMPERATURES AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
