WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

1112 AM CDT SUN OCT 19 2014 /1212 PM EDT SUN OCT 19 2014/

HIGH PRESSURE MOVED OVER THE REGION OVERNIGHT. THIS LEAD TO
MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND CALM WINDS WHICH LEAD TO AREAS OF FROST
IN THE EARLY MORNING. LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 20S TO
MID 30S...EXCEPT THE LOWER 40S AT THE LAKEFRONT. LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES ROSE TO THE MID 40S TO 50 WITH SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS.

PLEASANT BUT COOL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON WITH
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 50S. ANOTHER FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL
BRING CLOUDS BACK THIS AFTERNOON. HIGHS MONDAY WILL BE SLIGHTLY
WARMER FROM THE UPPER 50S TO MID 60S. MOST AREAS WILL BE DRY
MONDAY...HOWEVER THERE IS A CHANCE OF SHOWERS FOR NORTHWEST
INDIANA MONDAY EVENING INTO TUESDAY. FOR TUESDAY...HIGHS WILL COOL
TO THE MID 50S WITH A POSSIBILITY OF SHOWERS IN THE VICINITY OF
LAKE MICHIGAN DURING THE MORNING. ANOTHER HIGH WILL APPROACH TO
BRING DRY CONDITIONS WITH A SLIGHT WARMING TREND FOR THE REST OF
THE WEEK.
