CLOUDY SKIES AND RAIN WERE OVER THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SATURDAY MORNING. MORNING LOW
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID 60S TO 70. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES
ALREADY BEGAN TO FALL AS A COLD FRONT MADE ITS WAY THROUGH THE
AREA. LOCATIONS WHERE THE FRONT HAS PASSED WERE IN THE
50S...OTHERWISE TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S.

AREAS MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 WILL SEE HEAVIEST
RAIN INTO THIS EVENING. SHOWERS ARE LIKELY WITH A THUNDERSTORM OR
TWO POSSIBLE. RAIN WILL END FOR THIS PORTION OF THE AREA EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING.

THE COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE
REGION. A FEW SHOWERS WILL THEN LINGER BEHIND THE FRONT THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS TEMPERATURES WILL FALL. 7 PM TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE MID 40S TO UPPER 50S. MUCH COOLER
BUT DRY CONDITIONS THEN CAN BE EXPECTED SUNDAY WITH GUSTY
NORTHEAST WINDS AND TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID 60S...EXCEPT IN
THE LOW TO MID 50S ALONG THE LAKEFRONT.
