THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SAW PARTLY TO
MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES DURING THE AFTERNOON. A FEW SHOWERS MOVED INTO
THE AREA FROM WISCONSIN. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
LOWER TO MID 80S WITH WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 35 MPH AT
TIMES.

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE SOUTHWARD ACROSS SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN INTO NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND BRING SLIGHT CHANCES OF
SHOWERS WITH AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM OR TWO POSSIBLE THROUGH THE
EARLY EVENING. NORTHWEST TO NORTH WINDS WILL BE GUSTY THROUGH THE
EVENING. QUIET WEATHER IS THEN EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO MONDAY
NIGHT...AS COOLER AND DRIER AIR MOVES INTO THE AREA FROM THE
NORTH...BRINGING ANOTHER STRETCH OF BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES
LASTING THROUGH THE WORK WEEK. SLIGHT CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS RETURNS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUES INTO THE
REST OF THE WEEK...AS VARIOUS TROUGHS OF LOW PRESSURE MOVE THROUGH
THE REGION. TEMPERATURES SHOULD REMAIN PLEASANT.
