WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

736 PM CST WED FEB 25 2015 /836 PM EST WED FEB 25 2015/

LIGHT SNOW WAS FALLING ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA THIS EVENING. HIGH TEMPERATURES MADE IT INTO THE MID TO
UPPER 20S.

A CLIPPER SYSTEM ACROSS MISSOURI WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE OFF TO THE
OHIO VALLEY THURSDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING THE AREA A COUPLE OF
INCHES OF SNOW TONIGHT AND INTO THURSDAY MORNING. THE CHANCE FOR
LIGHT SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWEST INDIANA AS LAKE EFFECT SNOW KICKS IN. HIGHS ON
THURSDAY WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE TEENS. ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WILL
THEN SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT WITH LOWS RANGING FROM
ZERO TO 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. DRY BUT COLD CONDITIONS WILL
PREVAIL FRIDAY AND MOST OF SATURDAY BEFORE ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM
MOVES IN SATURDAY NIGHT BRINGING THE CHANCES OF LIGHT SNOW.
