TODAY AND SUNDAY WILL BOTH BE WARM AND HUMID DAYS WITH HIGHS
IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S THIS AFTERNOON AND NEAR 80 SUNDAY...THOUGH
A LAKE BREEZE IS EXPECTED TO TURN WINDS ONSHORE ALONG THE ILLINOIS
SHORE TODAY...RESULTING IN COOLER TEMPERATURES. WARM MOIST AIR
CONTINUES TO STREAM INTO THE AREA WHICH IS HELPING TO GENERATE
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS. THIS
ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH
NOON. THEN AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE NORTHEAST INTO
NORTHERN INDIANA INTO THE EVENING AND IS EXPECTED TO BRING
ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. THESE STORMS
MAY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLY
A FEW STRONG WIND GUSTS. THERE WILL BE A LOW CHANCE FOR ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
SUNDAY. CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
