WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

SHOWERS HAVE MOVED INTO THE AREA DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON. MOSTLY
CLOUDY SKIES ALONG WITH THESE SHOWERS LIMITED TEMPERATURES TO THE
LOWER TO MID 60S. WINDS WERE FROM THE NORTHWEST GUSTING AS HIGH AS 25
MPH MAKING IT FEEL MUCH MORE LIKE FALL THAN THE EXACT MIDDLE OF
METEOROLOGICAL SUMMER. THE SHOWERS AND WINDS WILL DIMINISH AFTER
SUN SET LEADING TO A COOL NIGHT WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S AND
LOW 50S.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OVER OUR AREA TONIGHT AND STICK AROUND FOR
THE REST OF THE WORK WEEK. THIS WILL PROVIDE FOR DRY WEATHER AND
BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES. WEDNESDAY WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY AND
SLIGHTLY WARMER IN THE LOW 70S. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BEGIN
TO APPROACH THE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND BRINGING US WARMER WEATHER.
