WITH HIGH PRESSURE OVERHEAD...CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS ENABLED
CHILLY OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE LOWER 40S TO LOWER
50S OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO...WITH MID AND UPPER 50S IN THE CITY. THE
HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLIDE EAST TODAY...WITH CLOUDS INCREASING FROM
THE WEST. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 70S TO
AROUND 80. A LAKE BREEZE IS EXPECTED TO WORK A FEW MILES INLAND.
LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY APPROACH FROM THE WEST TONIGHT. AFTER A
DRY EVENING...A FEW SHOWERS AND MAYBE A STORM ARE POSSIBLE
OVERNIGHT WEST OF A LINE FROM PAXTON TO HARVARD. LOW TEMPERATURES
BY EARLY SATURDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 50S TO THE MID
60S...COOLEST IN PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST INDIANA.

AS THE LOW PRESSURE AREA CONTINUES TO WORK SLOWLY EAST ON
SATURDAY...THERE IS A CHANCE FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AREA WIDE...THOUGH MANY DRY HOURS CAN BE EXPECTED.
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO NEAR NORMAL FOR MID AUGUST...IN THE
LOWER 80S. ON SUNDAY...MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE...WITH THE HIGHEST CHANCES SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE MID AND UPPER 70S NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 80 TO THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
80.
