SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS CONTINUED TO USHER IN MILD AND MOIST AIR
INTO THE REGION ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THIS RESULTED IN HIGHS RANGING
GENERALLY FROM THE UPPER 40S TO THE MID 50S...WELL ABOVE THE
AVERAGE LOWER TO MID 30S FOR MID DECEMBBER. LOW CLOUDS AND AREAS
OF FOG...SOME LOCALLY DENSE...WERE THE RULE AGAIN. SKIES WILL
REMAIN CLOUDY SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH MORE FOG AND PATCHY DRIZZLE...AS
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE SOUTHWEST. TEMPERATURES
WILL COOL LITTLE IF AT ALL OVERNIGHT.

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF LIGHT RAIN MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. HIGHS ON MONDAY WILL AGAIN BE WELL
ABOVE AVERAGE...IN THE UPPER 40S TO AROUND 50. THEN A COLD FRONT
WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION ON TUESDAY MORNING...WITH
TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE 30S ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON BEHIND IT.
ANY LINGERING PRECIPITATION MAY MIX WITH SNOW IN PARTS OF THE
AREA. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN PROVIDE DRY BUT COLDER CONDITIONS ON
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. FORECAST AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES ON
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ARE SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE IN THE UPPER 20S
TO LOW 30S...AND CLOSE TO AVERAGE LOWER TO MID 30S ON FRIDAY.
