THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SAW AREAS OF FOG
SUNDAY MORNING AS SKIES REMAINED CLOUDY BUT WITH A FEW PEEKS OF THE
SUN. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 40S TO LOW 50S WITH
SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS.

SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO USHER IN MILD...AND MOIST AIR INTO
THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON GIVING THE AREA WELL ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES...WHICH WILL BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 50S. SKIES WILL
REMAIN CLOUDY TONIGHT AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE
SOUTHWEST. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING INCREASING CHANCES OF RAIN MONDAY
MORNING AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURES MONDAY AND
MONDAY NIGHT WILL REMAIN ABOVE NORMAL. THEN A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP
ACROSS THE REGION FROM TUESDAY MORNING INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON
DROPPING TEMPERATURES AND CHANGING ANY LINGERING RAIN INTO A WINTERY
MIX...THEN TO PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW AS COLDER AIR RETURNS. WEAK HIGH
PRESSURE WILL THEN BRING DRY WEATHER WITH SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES
FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.
