SKIES WERE CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
IN THE MORNING. SOME LOCATIONS ACROSS THE AREA SAW DRIZZLE OR
LIGHT RAIN. MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOWER 50S TO
60. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOW 60S TO LOW 70S...EXCEPT
ALONG THE LAKEFRONT IN THE UPPER 50S.

HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO SLOWLY SLIDE OFF THE MID ATLANTIC
COAST. LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY FORM OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS EARLY
MONDAY THEN LIFT NORTHEAST OVER LAKE SUPERIOR MONDAY NIGHT. A
RETURN FLOW OF MOISTURE IS SETTING UP BETWEEN THE HIGH AND THE
FORMING LOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COUNTRY. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE
POSSIBLE IN ILLINOIS THIS AFTERNOON AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE ALONG AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 39. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS ARE
POSSIBLE IN THE EVENING AND INTO MONDAY MORNING. THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND SLIDE EAST LATE TONIGHT ACROSS ALL
OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA. VERY MOIST AIR WILL
ARRIVE OVERNIGHT...WITH SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY
DOWNPOURS. THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE MONDAY MORNING.
