SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA AT MIDDAY. SCATTERED SHOWERS WERE MOVING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE AREA...MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. AFTER
MORNING LOWS IN THE MID 50S TO LOW 60S...TEMPERATURES HAVE RISEN
INTO THE MID 60S TO LOW 70S.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH THE REGION WILL AFFECT
THE AREA THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL BRING WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION
TO THE AREA BEGINNING THIS EVENING AND CONTINUING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO THREE INCHES COULD BE
POSSIBLE BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR
SEVERE WEATHER OF GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL. HIGHS TODAY WILL BE IN THE
UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S...EXCEPT ALONG THE LAKEFRONT WHERE
TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE LOW 70S.
