WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA

1119 AM CST SAT FEB 21 2015 /1219 PM EST SAT FEB 21 2015/

MORNING SKIES WERE CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA. THE FAR SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE AREA SAW PERIODS OF LIGHT
SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH MID MORNING. MORNING LOWS WERE MILDER WITH
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER TEENS. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES
WERE IN THE MID 20S WITH LIGHT WIND.

THIS AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL WARM INTO THE UPPER 20S TO LOW 30S.
FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. ANOTHER HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER SHOT OF ARCTIC AIR ALONG WITH
DRY CONDITIONS INTO THE REGION SUNDAY. MORNING LOWS WILL RANGE
FROM THE MIDDLE SINGLE DIGITS TO THE LOW TEENS. AFTERNOON HIGHS
WILL ONLY BE IN THE UPPER SINGLE DIGITS IN FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS
AND INTO THE MIDDLE TEENS ELSEWHERE. THE BITTER COLD WILL CONTINUE
INTO MONDAY.
