1154 AM CDT WED AUG 20 2014 /1254 PM EDT WED AUG 20 2014/

LOW TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY MORNING WERE IN THE UPPER 50S NEAR
PAXTON IL AND THE UPPER 60S NEAR MIDWAY AIRPORT. LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.

THIS AFTERNOON IS EXPECTED TO BE PARTLY CLOUDY...WITH HIGHS
PRIMARILY IN THE MID 80S...THOUGH A FEW SPOTS COULD REACH THE
UPPER 80S. A LAKE BREEZE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP DURING THE
AFTERNOON...WHICH COULD LIMIT HIGHS ALONG THE SHORE TO THE LOWER
80S. A WARM FRONT WILL BEGIN TO LIFT NORTH DURING THE AFTERNOON
WHICH COMBINED WITH AN UPPER DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO RESULTED
IN SCATTERED TO FAIRLY WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND STORMS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING. SCATTERED STORMS WILL REMAIN
POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY...BUT MAINLY IN NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NEAR
INTERSTATE 80 IN INDIANA. PERIODIC ISOLATED TO SCATTERED STORMS
WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY. A VERY WARM
AND HUMID AIR MASS WILL BE OVER THE AREA...WITH HIGHS IN THE MID
AND UPPER 80S ON THURSDAY AND UPPER 80S TO AROUND 90 ON FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY.
