DURING THE MORNING HOURS...SOUTHERN WISCONSIN...PARTS OF NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA SAW THE CLOUD
COVER INCREASE AS A WEATHER SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST.
MEANWHILE...NORTHWEST AND PARTS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN
ILLINOIS SAW PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. BY LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 30S NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN TO THE MID
TO UPPER 30S INLAND.

IT LOOKS TO BE AN ACTIVE WEATHER WEEK.

THIS AFTERNOON THE CLOUD COVER WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE AS THE
WEATHER DISTURBANCE ADVANCES FURTHER INTO THE REGION. THIS SYSTEM IS
EXPECTED TO BRING THE SLIGHT CHANCES OF LIGHT SNOW TO PORTIONS OF
THE REGION LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING...BUT THE BEST
CHANCES WILL BE AFTER MIDNIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING. SOME AREAS MAY
SEE A WINTRY MIX MONDAY MORNING THAT WILL TURN TO LIGHT RAIN OR
DRIZZLE IN THE AFTERNOON BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION ENDS. SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS LOOK TO BE 1 TO 3 INCHES FOR THE FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS
COUNTIES...TO A DUSTING TO AN INCH OR TWO ELSEWHERE. AFTER A SHORT
QUIET WEATHER PERIOD MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING...A WEATHER
SYSTEM WILL BRING THE CHANCES OF RAIN LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO
TUESDAY NIGHT ALONG WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES.
