SATURDAY AFTERNOON WAS WARM AND HUMID WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS. ANY THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED HEAVY
DOWNPOURS DUE TO THE MOIST AIRMASS IN PLACE. MID AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE 70S TO AROUND 80...WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES ALONG THE IMMEDIATE LAKE COUNTY
ILLINOIS SHORE. ANY LINGERING ISOLATED SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE ENDED AROUND MIDNIGHT SATURDAY
NIGHT...FOLLOWED BY THE POTENTIAL FOR FOG DEVELOPMENT OVERNIGHT.

SUNDAY WILL BE ANOTHER WARM AND HUMID DAY WITH BREEZY SOUTHERLY
WINDS AS STRONG LOW PRESSURE TRACKS FROM THE EASTERN DAKOTAS INTO
MINNESOTA. AN UPPER DISTURBANCE MOVING IN FROM THE WEST IS
EXPECTED TO KICK OFF FAIRLY WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
INTO THE EARLY OR MID EVENING ESPECIALLY IN NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER 70S TO
LOWER 80S. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA MONDAY...SO
WARM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN AHEAD OF THE FRONT WITH HIGHS
IN THE 70S AND 80S. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY
EAST OF INTERSTATE 57. AN UNSEASONABLY COOL AIRMASS WILL ARRIVE ON
TUESDAY.
