SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA THIS EVENING. TEMPERATURES WERE BELOW NORMAL TODAY...ONLY
REACHING INTO THE MID TO UPPER 70S. NORTHEAST WINDS WERE GUSTING
AS HIGH AS 30 MPH.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST WILL BE OVERHEAD BY EARLY
THURSDAY...WITH CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS RESULTING IN CHILLY
LOWS IN THE LOWER AND MID 50S...EXCEPT UPPER 50S IN CHICAGO. SIMILAR
CONDITIONS TO WEDNESDAY CAN BE EXPECTED ON THURSDAY...BUT THEN
UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL RETURN ON FRIDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS MOVES EAST. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS...WITH MORE WIDESPREAD COVERAGE POSSIBLE FRIDAY
EVENING AND NIGHT. WARMER AND MORE HUMID CONDITIONS WILL RETURN
OVER THE WEEKEND...WITH CONTINUED PERIODIC CHANCES FOR
THUNDERSTORMS.
