THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SAW VARYING
AMOUNTS OF SUN AND CLOUDS DURING THE MORNING HOURS. BY LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID 40S TO AROUND 50.

THE REGION CAN EXPECT TO SEE PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES THIS
AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES PEAK IN THE MID 50S THANKS TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS. SATURDAY WILL BE DRY BUT TURNING COOLER BY EVENING BEHIND A
COLD FRONT...WITH TEMPERATURES WELL AWAY FROM THE LAKE...PEAKING IN
THE LOW 50S TO UPPER 50S...BUT REMAINING IN THE 40S AROUND LAKE
MICHIGAN DUE TO NORTHERLY WINDS. DRY CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED FOR
MOST OF SUNDAY WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES ONLY GETTING INTO THE UPPER
30S TO MID 40S. A WEATHER SYSTEM IS THEN EXPECTED TO BRING THE
CHANCES OF LIGHT SNOW SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.
