SKIES WERE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA LATE THIS MORNING. SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS WERE
APPROACHING THE AREA AND TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID TO UPPER
50S.

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA AROUND MIDDAY. GUSTY
SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL SLOWLY SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST DURING THE
AFTERNOON AS THE FRONT PASSES. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND AN
OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORM AS WELL DURING THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS
TODAY WILL REACH INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL
MOVE INTO THE GREAT LAKES ON FRIDAY...BRINGING DRY WEATHER AND
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 60S.
