SKIES ACROSS THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION
REMAINED CLOUDY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. BY LATE AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S WITH NORTHWEST WINDS
GUSTING TO 30 MPH AT TIMES.

THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT THE CLOUDS WILL DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND
THE WINDS WILL DECREASE IN SPEED AS HIGH PRESSURE APPROACHES.
HOWEVER...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE DOWN LAKE
MICHIGAN TONIGHT ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE LAKE...WHICH
COULD PRODUCE LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING
FOR NORTHWEST INDIANA. THE HIGH WILL BRING QUIET WEATHER BUT
COLDER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION FOR FRIDAY. THEN A STORM SYSTEM
WILL BRING THE CHANCES OF SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
AT THIS TIME...THERE IS UNCERTAINTY AS TO WHERE THE LOW WILL
MOVE...AND HOW MUCH SNOWFALL THE REGION MAY GET. KEEP UP WITH THE
LATEST FORECASTS FOR SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
