SUNSHINE EARLIER THIS MORNING WAS REPLACED WITH CLOUDY SKIES BY
MIDDAY WITH THE APPROACH OF A SYSTEM TO THE NORTHWEST.
HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY VARIED FROM THE MID TO UPPER 70S TO
AROUND 70 DEGREES NEAR THE LAKE...WHILE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPED OVER NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

AS THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE
REGION...COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY
INCREASE TONIGHT. ALTHOUGH THIS SYSTEM WILL EXIT THE AREA ON
MONDAY...SEVERAL MID LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
REGION AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT. EXPECT TEMPERATURES
TONIGHT TO FALL TO THE LOW 60S WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW
TO MID 70S EXPECTED MONDAY...WHILE TEMPERATURES STAY AROUND 70
NEAR THE LAKE.
