A WARM FRONT WILL REMAIN ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS THROUGH THE
EVENING...WITH A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING EAST ALONG
THE FRONTAL ZONE FROM THE PLAINS. AS A RESULT...ISOLATED STORMS
ARE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE
EVENING...BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD AS THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
MOVES INTO THE AREA DURING THE EVENING. THESE STORMS MAY
EVENTUALLY DEVELOP INTO A LINE OR COMPLEX ROUGHLY SOUTH OF A
PONTIAC TO RENSSELAER LINE...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY
RAIN...LOCALIZED FLOODING...LARGE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS. ON
SUNDAY...HIGHS WILL BE IN THE LOWER AND MID 80S. ISOLATED TO
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY OCCUR ON SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...THOUGH MUCH COOLER AND LESS HUMID AIR WILL ARRIVE ON
MONDAY BEHIND A COLD FRONT...WITH HIGHS ONLY IN THE LOWER AND MID
70S. COOLER THAN NORMAL BUT PLEASANT CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH MID WEEK...WITH A GRADUAL WARMING TREND.
