SKIES ACROSS THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION
REMAINED CLOUDY THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS WITH A FEW PERIODS OF
LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS...MIXED WITH LIGHT RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE AT
TIMES. BY LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S
WITH NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OVER 35 MPH AT TIMES.

AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FURTHER EAST AND AWAY FROM OUR REGION
THIS AFTERNOON...ANY CHANCES OF PRECIPITATION WILL END AS
TEMPERATURES REMAIN STEADY. THEN THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT THE CLOUDS
WILL DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND THE WINDS WILL DECREASE IN SPEED AS
HIGH PRESSURE APPROACHES. THE HIGH WILL BRING QUIET WEATHER BUT
COLDER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION FOR FRIDAY. THEN A STORM SYSTEM
WILL BRING THE CHANCES OF SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. AT
THIS TIME...THERE IS UNCERTAINTY AS TO WHERE THE LOW WILL MOVE...
WHICH WILL AFFECT IF AND HOW MUCH SNOWFALL THE REGION MAY GET. KEEP
UP WITH THE LATEST FORECASTS FOR SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
