DESPITE A WARM AND HUMID AIR MASS IN PLACE...PERSISTENT CLOUD
COVER ON SATURDAY LIMITED HIGH TEMPERATURES TO MAINLY IN THE 80 TO
85 DEGREE RANGE. THUNDERSTORMS FORMED OVER CENTRAL ILLINOIS DURING
THE LATE AFTERNOON AND A FEW SEVERE STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE
FOR CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND WEST CENTRAL INDIANA INTO SATURDAY
EVENING AND THE EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS. MOST OF THE REMAINDER OF
THE AREA WILL REMAIN PRIMARILY DRY THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
LOWS BY EARLY SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER 60S TO AROUND 70.

A STRONG UPPER DISTURBANCE COULD TOUCH OFF A FEW ISOLATED OR
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS ON SUNDAY. WEST NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
BECOME STRONG AND GUSTY IN THE LATE MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH
THE AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE PRIMARILY IN
THE LOWER 80S...WITH A FEW MID 80S POSSIBLE. A DEEP UPPER LEVEL
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL THEN SET UP NORTH OF THE GREAT
LAKES...BRINGING ANOTHER STRETCH OF BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES
THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE WORK WEEK. THE COOLEST DAY WILL BE
MONDAY...FEATURING HIGHS ONLY IN THE LOWER AND MID 70S...FOLLOWED
BY A GRADUAL WARMING TREND.
