SKIES HAVE BECOME MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA...WITH A
FEW POCKETS OF PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
INDIANA. AN AREA OF LIGHT TO AT TIMES MODERATE RAIN CONTINUES TO
FALL ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...BUT IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY
DISSIPATE BY THIS AFTERNOON. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN
THE LOWER 70S TO LOWER 80S.

SKIES WILL BECOME PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A ROCKFORD TO JOLIET TO
VALPARAISO LINE LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING. HIGHS
THIS AFTERNOON AWAY FROM LAKE MICHIGAN WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER
80S...WHILE ALONG THE LAKE IN THE UPPER 70S. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON
MONDAY WILL REACH THE UPPER 80S WITH A FEW LOCATIONS POSSIBLY
TAGGING 90. MUCH OF THE AREA WILL PUSH PEAK HEAT INDICES INTO THE
MID 90S NORTH TO UPPER 90S SOUTH. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF AN
ISOLATED SHOWER OR STORM MONDAY AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
